An online book store was needed by Bahrisons, a Delhi-based company, to sell all the books available in their physical bookstore.

What were the challenges we faced?

Online distribution was needed for a physical book store with multiple titles available in limited quantities. Several thousand books were already stocked and sold there, categorized by ISBN, author, genre, and type.It was necessary, if more than one book was purchased, to calculate the shipping cost via an algorithm in order to keep the shipping cost low for the buyer.We needed admin to be able to fulfill orders placed by buyers around the globe.

The solutions that we offer

Administrators were able to bulk upload product titles and images directly from their admin panels to make them available online using our web application.The administrator could manage the cost of shipping for local, national, and international deliveries based on how here many products were purchased.Buyers can search by ISBN, Title, Author Name, & Genre for products uploaded.Even when a product wasn't in stock, the system allowed an admin to place an order offline for later delivery.
